Location: Percy Warner Park,ÌýChickering Trailhead,Ìý1651 Chickering Rd, Nashville, TN 37215.Ìý
Meet: 8:30 AM at the Trailhead Information Kiosk: Located directly at the edge of the gravel lot, this large wooden sign post displays the park map and is the clearest visual anchor for everyone to congregate.Ìý
Trail: The entire path is wide, smooth asphalt.ÌýThe path is heavily shaded. It cuts through a mature hardwood forest with a thick, dense canopy overhead.ÌýThe surface has some evidence of erosion so careful observation of the trail surface is suggested. The trail hasÌýlong, rolling hills rather than completely flat ground. Skill level - moderate.Ìý

Location: Edwin Warner Park, Warner Woods Trail (Blue Blaze Trail), Edwin Warner Park Nature Center lot, 7311 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
Meet: 8:30 AM at at covered back porch of the Nature Center building.
Trail: This is aÌý2.5-mile, single-track dirt loopÌýdeeply immersed in nature.ÌýThe trail is blanketed by a dense canopy of massive old-growth trees.ÌýIt provides 100% continuous shade.ÌýWhile it is a natural dirt path, it has only a few tricky tree roots and loose rocks to navigate.ÌýGenerally, it features gentle, rolling elevation changes rather than gasping, steep climbs. We will hikeÌýa series of charming wooden footbridges over wet-weather creeks, walk right through a historic 1930s stone quarry, and step along a small, protected section of the historic Natchez Trace wilderness trail.Ìý

Location: Timberland Park, Natchez Trace Pkwy Milepost 437.2, Franklin, TN 37064.
Meet: 8:30 AM on the back patio of the Timberland Park Interpretive Center (the main visitor log cabin building next to the parking lot). There are wooden rocking chairs and a map kiosk here, making it an ideal landmark to gather your group.

• Timberland Park, Franklin, TN.Ìý This will work because it is the only park at that location. The GPS will navigate you directly into the paved parking loop. You do not need to look for a street address number.

Here areÌýthree simple visual cues to know you are in the right place:

• The Highway Exit: The park entrance is on the Natchez Trace Parkway, immediately south of the massive, iconic concrete . If you cross the big bridge heading south, the park entrance is the very first turnoff on the right.
• The Sign: There is a large stone monument sign at the entrance that reads "Timberland Park - Williamson County Nature Park."
• The Building: The parking lot is a one-way circle that wraps around a large brown log cabin with a green metal roof. You cannot miss it.
