The Day of Discovery at ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ (DoDV) is open to 7th and 8th grade students at the following schools
- J. T. Moore Middle Prep
- Rose Park Magnet Math and Science Middle
- West End Middle Prep
Students at these schools travel to ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ to our laboratory classroom once a week. Students meet from 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. one school day per week and engage in inquiry based STEM learning co-taught by Ph.D. scientists.
Curriculum in the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Classroom
The DoDV STEM curriculum revolves around the expertise and interest of the instructors. Previous topics include:

Campus Laboratory Tours and Visits
When possible, students will travel to ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ campus science labs and STEM facilities to meet world-renowned experts and trainees in cutting cut topics and hear more about their career path. Previous lab tours include:
