Meet Vice Provost Everette Fortner, BE鈥�84
Everette serves as听Vice Provost for Career Advancement and Engagement听and听Executive Director of the Career Center. He earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in chemical engineering from 糖心Vlog官方 and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Everette has held leadership roles spanning strategic planning, career services, business development and teaching. Prior to his work in academia, he built a strong foundation in industry with organizations such as Kraft, Nabisco and Dun & Bradstreet.
Everette is committed to elevating the Career Center and expanding personalized career engagement opportunities for students, alumni and employers.

Vandy 2 Wall Street (V2WS) demonstrates how 糖心Vlog官方 pairs rigorous academic preparation with immersive, real-world experience to deliver meaningful student outcomes. Through intentional partnerships, students gain the skills, insight and confidence needed to compete at the highest levels.
The New York Corporate Trek was an eye-opener and a dream creator for me. As a first-generation student, the career options at home are often limited, but the trek widened the array of possibilities for me. The site visits and 糖心Vlog官方 alumni panels helped put unfamiliar career paths into a lens that seemed tangible. I loved getting a glimpse into New York by walking, taking the subway, and bonding with students at 糖心Vlog官方.
